About.
open{text magazine is a collective organization (non-profit) dedicated to the publication of a semesterly subject based issue. Each issue will revolve around and address a given theme (decided upon by the editors) in reference to History of Art/ Criticism. Each component article per issue will be presented in the form that each editor/author feels most exclusively reflects, reinforces and therefore enriches the subject of each written piece in reference to the topic chosen per issue. The ambition of the collective is to promote interdisciplinary colloquy and catalyze different ways of thinking about academic writing as a medium.
Pablo Barrera is the Co-Founder and Co-Editor of open{text magazine, and is currently a B.A. candidate for History of Art and Anthropology at the University of Pennsylvania.
Sol Jung is the Co-Founder and Co-Editor of open{text magazine, and is currently a B.A. candidate for History of Art and Philosophy at the University of Pennsylvania.
